Whether you shopped at Menards on Lima Road or Illinois Road, Lowe’s, Floor & Decor, Home Depot, or another flooring supplier, the next step is the same: review the exact product and the actual rooms. Labor-only flooring installation gives you a separate scope for the work you still need.
Pro Build is independent of the retailers named here. Product availability and retailer installation programs vary.
Close the gaps before install day
Subfloor prep, leveling, old adhesive, and moisture conditions can change the scope before the first plank goes down.
Room shape, cut waste, damaged boards, stairs, and future repair stock affect how much flooring you need. Confirm the final order after measuring.
Doorway transitions, stair noses, baseboards, and quarter-round need compatible profiles and the right finished heights.
The installation method, subfloor flatness, moisture limits, underlayment, climate conditions, and expansion gaps come from your product’s current instructions. We review those requirements before agreeing to the work. Manufacturer warranty coverage remains subject to that manufacturer’s terms; hiring an installer does not guarantee a claim will be accepted.
