Flooring installation

A better floor, without the showroom runaround.

We bring samples to your home, measure the actual rooms, and manage the installation from tear-out through cleanup.

Finished wood-look flooring in a bright Fort Wayne living space

Where it fits

Choose for the job, not the sample board.

  • Homeowners comparing LVP, carpet, laminate, hardwood, or tile
  • Occupied homes that need a clear room-by-room work plan
  • Projects where subfloor condition needs to be checked before ordering

The installation plan

  1. 01

    See it at home

We bring practical samples and look at them in your light, next to your paint and trim.

  2. 02

    Measure and inspect

We measure each space, check transitions, and flag visible subfloor or moisture concerns.

  3. 03

    Approve a clear scope

You see material, prep, removal, installation, and timing before work is scheduled.

  4. 04

    Install and clean up

The assigned crew follows the scope. We handle the schedule and final walkthrough.

After the crew leaves

Use the floor with a clear handoff.

  • You will know which furniture needs to move before installation day.
  • Tear-out, disposal, trim, transitions, and door clearance are addressed in the scope.
  • Walk-on timing depends on the material and adhesive. We explain it before the crew leaves.

Straight answers

Flooring questions, answered.

Do I need to visit a showroom?

No. Pro Build brings selected samples to your home so you can compare them in the rooms where they will be installed.

How long does installation take?

Most single-room jobs are completed in a day. Larger or more complicated work may take several days. Your written estimate will spell out the expected schedule before you approve the job.

Who moves the furniture?

Furniture responsibilities are set during the estimate. Small items and personal belongings should be removed by the homeowner. Any crew-assisted moving must be written into the scope.

What happens if the subfloor is damaged?

We document visible issues and explain the repair options. Hidden conditions are handled through a written change before extra work begins.

Can you remove my existing floor?

Yes, when removal and disposal are included in the approved scope. We confirm what is staying, what is leaving, and how the rooms should be prepared.

How do I compare two flooring estimates?

Compare the selected material, ordered quantity, removal, disposal, subfloor preparation, trim, transitions, furniture responsibilities, schedule, and change process. A low total with missing scope is not the same job.
